CLUTCH HAVING PLANETARY GEAR TYPE REDUCTION MECHANISM

PURPOSE: To improve handling feeling during disengagement of a clutch in the clutch having a planetary gear type reduction mechanism. ;CONSTITUTION: A planetary gear type reduction mechanism consists of a sun gear 31₁ fixed to an input shaft 31, a planetary carrier 40 attached to an output shaft 39, a planetary gear 41 supported on the planetary carrier 40 and a link gear 38₁ fixed to a clutch outer 38 and a clutch shoe 44 is laid between the clutch outer 38 and a clutch inner 42 fixed to the planetary carrier 40. When the clutch is engaged, a frictional member 44₂ of the clutch shoe 44 is brought into contact with the clutch outer 38 and the link gear 38₁ is fixed to transmit driving force to the output shaft 39. When the clutch is disengaged, a frictional member 44₁ of the clutch shoe 44 is brought into contact with the clutch inner 42 to prevent the planetary carrier 40 and the output shaft 39 from revolving.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
