PURPOSE: To improve handling feeling during disengagement of a clutch in the clutch having a planetary gear type reduction mechanism. ;CONSTITUTION: A planetary gear type reduction mechanism consists of a sun gear 311 fixed to an input shaft 31, a planetary carrier 40 attached to an output shaft 39, a planetary gear 41 supported on the planetary carrier 40 and a link gear 381 fixed to a clutch outer 38 and a clutch shoe 44 is laid between the clutch outer 38 and a clutch inner 42 fixed to the planetary carrier 40. When the clutch is engaged, a frictional member 442 of the clutch shoe 44 is brought into contact with the clutch outer 38 and the link gear 381 is fixed to transmit driving force to the output shaft 39. When the clutch is disengaged, a frictional member 441 of the clutch shoe 44 is brought into contact with the clutch inner 42 to prevent the planetary carrier 40 and the output shaft 39 from revolving.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
