PURPOSE:To lessen a load when a test environment constructor constructs a test environment program group. CONSTITUTION:In this device, H/W specification information 202 including information on the hardware constitution of a system is given. Then, guidance is executed based on the H/W specification information 202, and sub-system definition information 203 is inputted. Specification information 202 and sub-system definition information 203 are linked and system constitution specification information 204 is generated. Then, the test environment program group 208 is generated in accordance with the designation of a tested part 206 by using system constitution specification information 204 and a simulator in a simulator library 207.
