METHOD FOR DISPLAYING CONDITION OF RUNNER BEING ON BASE IN BASEBALL BROADCAST PICTURE ON TELEVISION

PURPOSE: To intelligibly display the condition of runners being on base to an audience without increasing the number of display characters by changing display colors of characters S, B, and O on the baseball broadcast picture to display the condition of runners being on base. ;CONSTITUTION: Characters S, B, and O indicating the number of strikes, the number of balls, and the number of outs respectively are displayed in the right lower part on the television picture so that they can be switched to normal colors and change colors. When a batter gets to base, the character corresponding to the base position is switched to the change color and is displayed. For example, characters S, B, and O correspond to first, second, and third bases respectively in order. Thus, the audience is enabled to understand the condition of runners being on base without hindrance to a view of the picture clue to the increase of the number of characters.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
