摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain characteristics superior in tensile strength, bending elastic modulus, and internal loss by resolving the occurrence of resonance or abnormal sounds and the degradation of the sound pressure-frequency characteristic concerning the resin material used in an acoustic apparatus like a speaker. ;CONSTITUTION: Vulcanised rubber like styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) or a nitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) having a large internal loss and whiskers which have crystal grown from the center in four different directions and consist of zinc oxide and have a high modulus of elasticity are mixed with a thermoplastic or thermosetting synthetic resin. Then, the obtained resin material has high modulus of elasticity and high tensile strength, and an article formed by using the resin material has a larger internal loss, a higher flexural rigidity, and a higher specific gravity on the condition of a constant thickness in comparison with a conventional resin formed article. Consequently, a speaker box and a speaker frame formed by using the resin material are neither deformed nor bring about resonance during the operation of speakers, and therefore, the sound pressure-frequency characteristic of speakers is flat, and a distortion reduction effect is given.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
