JOINTING STRUCTURE IN LARGE SPATIAL FRAMEWORK

PURPOSE: To form a structural body into high rigidity by means of rigid junction as well as to make a site construction so easy, and executable in a short time and outward appearance yet better. ;CONSTITUTION: Three pipes 3 are triangularly set up, preforming each triangular unit 2 made up of attaching a circular member 4 tight to the intersection, and then each of circular members 4 of plural pieces of this triangular unit 2 are aggregated into a circular form. In addition, each of joining plates 7 and 8 is fitted in both upper and lower engaged parts 5 and 6 projectingly formed in the circular member 4 and, after adjacent triangular units 2 are connected to each other, the joining plates 7, 8 and the circular member 4 are welded together into an integral structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
