PURPOSE: To save laborer in the digged earth and sand carry-out work by carrying out earth and sand which are digged out from the underground digging position automatically on the surface of ground by a vertical conveyance device which has a pressing belt from a transportation device including a muck car via an automatic earth and sand supply device. ;CONSTITUTION: Earth and sand which is digged out at the digging position is loaded on a muck car 18 of a transportation device 16, carried in a horizontal conveyance section at a low position of a vertical conveyance device 1, and supplied and discharged automatically on a flat belt conveyor 2 in the horizontal conveyance section at the low position by an automatic earth and sand supply device 4. Earth and sand which is supplied and discharged automatically in the horizontal conveyance section at the low position of the vertical conveyance device 1 is carried in the horizontal conveyance section at a high position via a vertical conveyance section while it is held by the flat belt conveyor 2 and a pressing belt conveyor 3.
