SYNTAX ANALYZING SYSTEM AND SYNTAX ANALYSIS CONTROL SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To accurately and efficiently determine the valid modified word of a preposition phrase from a general standpoint about an English sentence including the preposition phrase locally having plural modified phrases. CONSTITUTION:This syntax analyzing system is provided with a completion judging part 10 for judging whether a preposition phrase to be a remarked phrase and a phrase adjacent to the head of the preposition phrase mutually satisfy a completion condition and are collected as one phrase or not, a depending relation synthetic decision part 20 for extracting all modification relation between a word included in the phrase adjacent to the head side of the preposition phrase and allowed to be modified by the preposition phrase and the preposition phrase itself, totally evaluating all modification relation and widely selecting the optimum modification relation and an analytical tree forming part 30 for forming a partial analytical tree by collecting the preposition phrase and the phrase adjacent to the head side of the preposition phrase as one phrase based upon the decision of the decision part 20.
