PURPOSE: To prevent a drop in electrical insulation resistance between a base comprising electric insulation material connected to the crushed sealing section of a bulb via an adhesive, and equipment using the bulb without any use of a special material by applying the adhesive in such a way as not exposed to the external surface of the base. ;CONSTITUTION: A crushed sealing section 2 is formed at both ends of a tubular bulb l and a foil conductor 3 comprising Mo or the like is sealed therein. A cylindrical base 5 comprising an electrical insulation material is connected to the sealing section 2 via an adhesive 7. In the base 5, an external lead wire 6 is connected to a power cable 8, and this cable 8 is extended to the outside of the base 5. In this case, the adhesive 7 enters even the connecting section of the lead wire 6 and cable 8, but is so filled as not to ooze outside the edge of the sealing section 2 at the insertion side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
