HEAT-INSULATED BOX FOR HOT-MENDING WORK OF COKE OVEN AND ITS INSTALLATION

PURPOSE: To provide a heat-insulated box for the hot-mending of a coke oven, enabling easy and quick installation and removal and effective in controlling the temperature of the working atmosphere. ;CONSTITUTION: A vertical duct 3 is attached to an end of a horizontal ceiling duct 2. The vertical duct 3 is provided with a suction hole 4 having vertically adjustable sucking position. Vertical reinforcing materials 5 are suspended from the ceiling duct in detachable state and the lower ends of the vertical duct and the vertical reinforcing materials are connected with a horizontal reinforcing material 6 to form a square frame 7. Inner or outer surface of the square frame is completely covered with a heat-insulation material 8 to obtain the objective heat-insulation box 1. The flow of air in the working space in hot-mending work is controlled to secure the working environment in a hot and narrow space. The breakage of non-mending brick can be prevented and the obtained box can extremely easily and quickly be installed and removed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
