PURPOSE: To guarantee the operation performance of a restricting mechanism during the whole life by forming an injection molding chamber suitable for forming a guiding recessed part having opposed gear cut parts so as to be kept between molded projected pieces in a sliding body at the time when an injection molding tool is closed. CONSTITUTION: A push rod switch 1 comprises a push rod 2 made of a plastic. The push rod 1 is installed in a switch housing 3. The switch 1 further comprises an electric connection part 5 and a contact apparatus 6 between a sliding body 4 and the electric contact part 5. Especially, the opposed gear cut part of the sliding body 4 and the gear cut parts 7, 8 of the push rod 2 are formed as multi-layered gear cut parts having a plurality of teeth and formed in two guiding recessed parts 17 formed as sheath bodies mutually opposed in both ends of the gear cut parts 7, 8 of the rod 2 and having the cross-section of four-divided circular shell body. Moreover, these guiding recessed parts 17 are extended in parallel to each other between end walls 14, 18 of the sliding body 4.
