PURPOSE: To execute can exchange without stopping coiling of a sliver relating to a sliver severing device of a sliver production textile machine. ;CONSTITUTION: The sliver is severed in the can filling state of a sliver production spinning frame after the sliver 1 full can is exchanged with an empty can. The filling station has a sliver coiling device 2 on which there is mounted, over the gap between the transferred full can and the can just beginning to receive the sliver, a sliver holding device 4 and also a sliver grasping device 5 which is reversibly movably mounted on the coiling device 2 for the sliver to the sliver holding device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
