PURPOSE: To provide a rich green dam lake wherein a side wall is formed in a terraced farm-form state, depressions are formed in each stage and a wet ground, a vegetable is caused to grow at a stage exposed when water is reduced, and a value as a sightseeing place is high. ;CONSTITUTION: A side wall 3 which a revetment comprises is formed in a terraced farm-form state. The surface of a stage part 7 is formed in a flat manner. A plurality of depressions 8 with a depth of approximate 30-50cm are excavated in the flat part of the stage part 7 at intervals of a proper distance. Further, stone masonry is effected at a boundary between the stage parts 7 and a plurality of stairs 10 are built at intervals of a proper distance. Since, when a dam 1 is full of water, the side wall 3 comprising the stage parts 7 is in water, earth from an upper stream is also accumulated at the stage part 7. Meanwhile, when an amount of water is reduced and the side wall 3 of the dam 1 is exposed, water is caused to remain in the depressions 8. Vegetables are caused to grow at the depression 8. This constitution causes delay of the progress of accumulation of earth to a lake bottom and utilization of the stage part 7 as a promenade.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
