PURPOSE: To enable qualitative diagnosis by inputting ultrasonic varying frequency as time correlation into an object organism, detecting the frequency difference between the emitted wave and reflected wave from a biotissue and analyzing ultrasonic reflection frequency characterisitc of the tissue part. ;CONSTITUTION: A trigger signal is input from a controller 1 to an oscillator 2 to emit a continuous sine wave varying frequency as time correlation, amplified 3 and ultrasonic wave is emitted with a vibrator 4 into a biotissue. Refletion signal is received with a vibrator 5 and is amplified 6. If this signal is detected 8 with the signal from the amplifier 7, the frequency difference between the reflection wave and the emission signal is detected and this frequency difference corresponds to the depth. The detected signal is amplified 9, A/D converted 11 through a filter group 10 and is stored 12. Data read out through a read out circuit 13 is sent to DSC 14, indicated 15 to analyze the reflection frequency characteristics of a tissue part in an arbitrary depth and utilize for qualitative diagnosis.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
