PURPOSE: To form the aluminum borosulfate by reating sulfuric acid and/or Al2(SO4)3 with AlBO3 hydrate which is obtaine from a B compound and at least on kind of the sulfate, halide, sulfate and hydroxide of Al. ;CONSTITUTION: One kind or more of the sulfate, halide, nitrate and hydroxide of Al such as Al2(SO4)3 hydrate and a B compound such as H3BO3 are made to react with each other in a molar ratio of 1/(0.5-2.5) in water at 5-80°C for 1-5hr. 100 pts.wt. of the produced AlBO3 hydrate is reacted with 4-100 pts.wt. converted into anhydrous Al2(SO4)3 of sulfuric acid and/or Al2(SO4)3 hydrate at 10-200°C 1-8hr. After the reaction, the produced precipitates are filtered, washed and dried to provide the aluminum borosulfate compound of the formula (x/y≥2.0; 0.4≤x≤10.0; 0.1≤y≤5.0; 0≤m≤4.0).
