SILVER HALIDE EMULSION AND SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL HIGH IN SENSITIVITY AND LOW IN FOG AND SUPERIOR IN STORAGE STABILITY

摘要

PURPOSE: To improve stagnation of a coating fluid and preservability of raw films by sensitizing the silver halide emulsion with a selenium compound and adding fine silver halide grains during the sensitization and regulating the silver potential of the emulsion to a specified value or lower. ;CONSTITUTION: It is preferred that the silver halide emulsion contains silver halide grains amounting to ≥50% of the projection areas of the total grains having a thickness of 0.5μm, especially, 0.3μm and a diameter to thickness aspect ratio of ≥2, especially, 3-8, and comprising twin crystals in monodispersion. At that time, the emulsion is sensitized with the selenium compound and the fine silver halide grains are added in this chemical sensitization and the silver potential of this emulsion is controlled to ≤100mV at 50°C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
