PURPOSE: To obtain an oil-free linear motor compressor that can be used for cryogenic refrigeration equipment, operated at high reliability without using oil, and allows unattended, continuous operation without maintenance over extended periods of time. ;CONSTITUTION: An oil-free linear motor compressor 2 comprises stator means 12, inner core means 42 substantially disposed within the stator means, reciprocating coil means 34 substantially disposed between the stator means and the inner core means, compressor driving means 72 disposed in adjacent to the inner core means and attached to drive coil means, and gas intake/exhaust means 52 substantially connected to the compressor driving means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
