HALF-TONE DOT MESHING AND PAINT-OUT EDITORIAL PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To apply the various kinds of half-tone dot meshing patterns and paint-out patterns distinguishable visually and mutually in the desired area of picture information and to paint out with the number of colors more than the number provided in a processor. CONSTITUTION:In order to paint out the prescribed area of the picture information, the display screen of a paint-out mode is displayed, the colors for performing the paint-out are specified and density is set by an indicator 785. When 'color mixture' is specified as the color for the paint-out, the paint-out is performed by the color for which recording colors provided in the processor are mixed (brown in case of black and red.) In the case of performing half-tone dot meshing, a pattern is selected and the density is set.
