FOLDED FILAMENT FISHING AND DEVICE GUT, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To improve the defects of conventional folded filament fishing guts such as a high production cost caused by three production processes because of folding first twisted filaments in a ply-twisting process and subsequently heat-setting the folded filaments, and the strength deterioration and insufficient transparency of the produced fishing gut caused by the plastic collapse of the filaments because the highly strong twisting of the filaments are performed in the ply twisting process due to the necessity of the first twisting process. ;CONSTITUTION: The method for producing the folded filament fishing gut from plural monofilaments is characterized by folding the plural monofilaments through a nozzle without preliminarily subjecting the monofilaments to a twisting process or with preliminarily subjecting the monofilaments to a fine first twisting process in such an extent as the number of the ply twisting is 1-3 times the number of the first twisting, and subsequently heat-setting the folded filaments. The folded filament fishing gut is characterized by production using this production method. The device therefor is characterized in that plural rotated bobbin holders are revolved about the shaft of a first twisting nozzle, while the shaft of the first twisting nozzle is rotated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
