AUTOMATIC RE-SHORING DEVICE FOR CONCRETE FORM IN CONSTRUCTING HIGH CONCRETE PIER

PURPOSE: To shorten the working time by providing a body having a form support arm in such a way as capable of freely ascending and descending along a climbing mast, and fitting the lower end of the support arm with a lock pin for supporting the body on a skeleton. ;CONSTITUTION: A body 3 is erected with the base 2 of a climbing mast 1 kept in contact with the center of a foundation skeleton A on the ground. Then, four sides of a form D are jointed to form support arms 6, and the arms 6 are caused to expand for press fitting the form D, thereby preparing an enclosure. A lock pin 7 is, then, inserted in the pin hole C of the skeleton A, and the base 2 is thereafter detached from the skeleton A. Then, the mast 1 is lifted and concrete is placed and cured in the form D. The arms 6 are thereafter caused to contract for detaching the form D from the skeleton A. Then, the mast 1 is lowered until the base 2 reaches the upper surface of the skeleton A, and fixed. The pin is, then, released from the pin hole C. Furthermore, after the body 3 is elevated along the mast 1 up to the next position for concrete placement, the arms 6 are caused to expand to again set the form D.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
