PURPOSE: To obtain a method of treating surface, for selectively fixing a compound containing a vinyl group or ethynyl group to the surface of a molded article of a polymer or the surface of a solid base having piled fragments of decomposed polymer. ;CONSTITUTION: The surface of a molded article of a polymer is irradiated with ultraviolet laser beam, then (1) the surface is reacted with an organic compound containing vinyl group or ethynyl group or (2) formed fragments of decomposed polymer is piled on a solid base and the surface of the formed fragments is reacted with the organic compound to fix the organic compound to the surface of a molded article of a polymer or the surface of a solid base.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
