PURPOSE: To provide an air feeding method capable of following such a carrying unit as carrying a high temperature body to be carried in a furnace and having irregular or pulsating carrying speed. ;CONSTITUTION: Air is fed from outside a furnace to parts to be carried placed on a flexible carrying unit in the furnace, as following the carrying unit. As soon as one portion of an air feeding tip unit protruding into the furnace of an air feeding device 3 arranged outside the furnace touches one part of the carrying unit, the air feeding device 3 also moves as following the carrying unit, and feeds the air in the parts to be carried via the air feeding tip unit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
