PURPOSE: To provide a flux cored wire for stainless steels having excellent pore resistance. ;CONSTITUTION: An austenitic stainless steel is used for the sheath and at least either of fluorine or carbon dioxide generating raw material is incorporated into the wire. In addition, the index expressed in formula (1) is ≤13. 0.084×H(w)-17.86×F(w)-3.47×CO(w)+2.99...(1), where H(w): the quantity (ppm) of the hydrogen incorporated into the wire, F(w): the weight of the fluorine (wt.%) generated at the time of wire combustion, CO(w): the weight (wt.%) of the CO2 generated at the time of wire combustion, where H(w): ≤160(ppm), F(w): ≤0.20(wt.%), CO(w): ≤0.50(wt.%), F(w)+C0(w)≤0.60(wt.%).
