INK STORAGE TANK, INK JET HEAD CARTRIDGE EQUIPPED WITH THE TANK, AND INK JET RECORDER EQUIPPED WITH THE CARTRIDGE

PURPOSE: To allow positive ink supply from an ink storage tank to a recording head, as required. ;CONSTITUTION: An ink bag 4 for holding ink therein is coupled with a part 5 for feeding ink, as required, from the ink bag 4 to a recording head part 2. The feeding part 5 is equipped with a slit bladder 7 made of an elastic member having a slit 7a which is normally closed but opened upon occurrence of a predetermined pressure difference between the ink bag 4 and the recording head part 2, and a fixing base 6 to be fit with the peripheral part of the slit bladder 7. The slit bladder has a partial thin part 7b which is recessed to open the slit 7a when the pressure decreases on the side of recording head part 2 through recording operation thus feeding ink from the ink bag 4 to the recording head part 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
