ROUTING INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN VSAT SATELLITE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: To highly reliably and efficiently manage routing information in a VSAT network for all terminals in VSAT satellite communication for connecting plural terminals by means of a very small aperture terminal and executing packet communication among these terminals. ;CONSTITUTION: A routing management server 1 is connected as a master node for a very small aperture terminal 3 to manage the whole routing information and the terminal 3 is provided with a routing information storing device 2. When the terminal 3 requires the routing information, information stored in the device 2 is retrieved, and when the information can not be retrieved, the routing information is inquired to the server 1 and the information is added to the device 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
