PURPOSE: To attain a defectless and strong welding structure body by performing the arc welding of an Al-Li alloy within a specific range of a welding current value and a welding speed respectively. ;CONSTITUTION: An arc welding is performed to an Al-Li alloy within ranges that a welding current value is 90 to 150A and a welding speed is 14 to 23cm/ min. Since the melting temperature of an Al-Li alloy is lower than that of the structural Al alloy, a welding is possible by a low current. With that, even if a welding speed is made fast, proper welding beads can be formed. In a state of 90A welding current, the penetration of a joined portion is insufficient, and proper welding beads are not formed. When the welding current exceeds 150A, the penetration is violent, a part influenced by heat is enlarged, and the performance of a joint strength, etc., deteriorate.
