PURPOSE: To shorten a measuring time and to improve work efficiency by speeding up a sample change during measurement in an automatic sample changer for an atomic absorption analyzer. ;CONSTITUTION: In an automatic sample changer, a rotary type switching valve is provided, and a cleaning water passage is branched inside a valve stator 3 while a cleaning water passage hole 5 is arranged in the middle of a sample passage hole 4, and a valve rotor 7 is rotated in a single direction so that a sample and the cleaning water are delivered alternately. On the other hand, a cleaning exclusive passage hole 11 is installed inside the valve rotor 7, so that all the sample passages can be cleaned at the same time, and as the result, the duration for a sample change is shortened.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
