PURPOSE: To load an automatic vending machine on the train of the Shinkansen (super-express railways) passing a no-voltage interval for around three seconds at every several minutes(i.e., a power source repeats comparatively long time of momentary power failure). ;CONSTITUTION: A battery 33 floating-charged by an external power source 1 as a supply power source to the train is incorporated, and and power supply from an uninterruptible power supply(UPS) 3 which generates and outputs an AC power source from the battery 3 to a load 51 relating to the transfer of money and the selection and delivery of a commodity such as the microcomputer. the coin mechanism, and the solenoid of the automatic tending machine 5, etc., is performed. However, since the battery of the UPS 3 is formed in small size so as to back up only the momentary power failure, a time relay 2 for off delay is driven by the external power source 1, and the output of the OPS 3 is interrupted by releasing the contact 2a of the relay 2 to prevent the battery exhaustion of the UPS 3 from occurring when full-scale power failure occurs.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
