PURPOSE: To obtain a photocoupler which has a high output and responds at a high speed without performing circuit correction by means of external parts. ;CONSTITUTION: The light receiving section of this photocoupler is constituted by connecting in series at least two or more photodiodes 4 and 5 which are connected to a bipolar transistor 8. A resistor 11 is connected between the base and emitter of the transistor 8.
