PURPOSE: To prevent that a measuring person obtains the result of wrong estimation on account of hisher unconsciousness of detector attaching error by utilizing the depen dence of form error on the detector attaching error to obtain the attaching error of a radius value detecting detector. ;CONSTITUTION: The proper value of attaching error is decided to obtain temporary angular error, and the angular correction of rotating angle is carried out on the temporary angular error to obtain corrective measuring point group data. The new value of attaching error is set up in order so that the amplitude of a form error curve may be lessened by utilizing the proportionality of the form error curve obtained from the corrective measuring point group data to detector attaching error, and the value of attaching error at the time when the form error curve becomed below a previously stored allowable value is judged as the attaching error of the detector 22, and written in a backup file. Next an estimated work WB is mounted on a rotary table 4 and measured, and angular error is obtained from the value of attaching error inputted from the backup file to carry out an angular correction for correcting a measurement error caused by the detector attaching error.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
