COMPONENT OF RAT PROTEASOME AND ITS DNA

PURPOSE: To provide the component of rat proteasome and the gene encoding the polypeptide of the component. ;CONSTITUTION: The amino acid sequences of the polypeptides of individual δ-, ι-, ξ-, and ring 12-components constituting rat proteasome, and the base sequences of the gene encoding these components. The individual components are produced by synthesizing cDNA from mRNA from rat hepatocytes, incorporating the double-stranded DNA synthesized from the cDNA into a vector, transforming a suitable host cells using the vector and proliferating the host cells. These components are useful for elucidation of the pathologic mechanism of malignant tumors and other diseases, diagnosis and treatment thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
