ROUTING SYSTEM FOR REMOTE BRIDGE AND REMOTE BRIDGE DEVICE

PURPOSE: To utilize a data transfer path in which traffic is able to be distributed with less transmission delay by allowing a remote bridge device uses a BC serial number to validate only a frame arrived first. ;CONSTITUTION: A remote bridge device 1 receiving a sent frame 10(F2) uses a frame data discrimination section 50 to check a broadcast flag (BC) flag and references a network table 4 when the flag is set to discriminate whether or not a caller address is already registered. When the address is not registered, the network table 4 is revised and when the address is already registered, the frame is discriminated as to whether the frame is a first-come frame or the frame received already depending on a received frame BC serial number. A frame data conversion section 51 aborts the frame already received based on the result of discrimination, the network table 4 is revised as to the frame or the like arrived first and the received frame data are converted as required and the result is sent to a LAN 6 or a communication line.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
