PURPOSE:To rapidly and surely dry an agricultural product to a desired drying degree by transferring the agricultural product by the use of a transfer device into a far IR light irradiation type drying device equipped with an air charging and discharging device. CONSTITUTION:A drying raw material (e.g. Japanese radish, persimmon, strawberry, Welsh onion, sardine, herring, or horse mackerel) supplied in the part 1 of a supplying device is transferred to the part 2 of a drying device with a transfer device 3, and subsequently irradiated with far IR light from a far IR light irradiation device 5. Air is charged from an air-charging device 6 and discharged from an air-discharging device 8. The dried product is taken out from a taking device 4.
