ICE MELTING METHOD IN ICE HEAT ACCUMULATING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To make the active promotion of ice melting in an ice heat accumulating system possible while eliminating the unevenness of melting of ice in a tank. ;CONSTITUTION: The stream of water is generated in a heat accumulating tank 1 forcedly to melt ice, in an ice heat accumulating system wherein ice blocks 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, produced employing overcooled water produced in an overcooler 8 provided on the outside of a tank, are accumulated in the heat accumulating tank 1 for storing heat source water for air conditioning while water, taken out of the heat accumulating tank 1, is used for the air conditioning heat source of a load side heat exchanger 17. According to this method, the temperature of water supplied to the load side can be reduced. Further, quick conduction of cold heat water can be effected to cope with the sudden fluctuation of the load. Piping works and the like are not necessitated even when the title method is applied on a multi-tank type heat accumulating tanks.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
