INPUT/OUTPUT DEVICE NAME PROCESSING METHOD FOR SEQUENCE CONTROL CIRCUIT DESIGN BACK-UP SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To specify the function of an input/output device and also to provide degree of freedom for selection of names in regard of a system which backs up the creation of a sequence control circuit in order to attain the automatic operation of the input/output device based on the input conditions of an input device. ;CONSTITUTION: The names displayed as an input or output device are previously registered in the input/output name files 45 and 46 together with the name meanings. Then the meaning corresponding to each name is retrieved through the files 45 and 46 for the input or output device whose name is inputted and displayed on a screen where the input or output device is assigned.
