PURPOSE: To efficiently remove the floating fur of SHIRATAKI (noodle-like devil's tongue jelly) without interrupting the process for production of the SHIRATAKI by providing the respective bases of tank bodies partitioned by plural perforated plates with floating fur receiving parts having opening/closing ports. ;CONSTITUTION: The floating fur included in water or hot water contg. the floating fur of the SHIRATAKI, etc., is stuck and captured during the passage in the pores bored in the many perforated plates 18a, 18b provided vertically in the tank bodies 16 when the water or hot water flows in a gravity flow state toward a discharge section 14 within the tank bodies 16 while the water or hot water is charged into a charge section 12. The floating fur captured by the perforated plates 18a, 18b gradually increases its shape while the floating fur sticks tightly to each other by its cohesiveness. The floating parts from the perforated plates 18a, 18b and falls and settles into the lower floating fur receiving parts 22. The floating fur deposited in the floating fur receiving parts 22 is easily discharged to the outside by opening and closing the opening/closing ports 24. As a result, the early clogging of the perforated plates 18a, 18b is averted and the discharge and removal of the floating fur settled in the bottoms of the tank are easy.
