PURPOSE: To provide a new crystalline molecular sieve of phosphate-zinc, which is capable of separating O2, CO2, N2, etc., and to utilize it in adsorption and catalytic reaction. ;CONSTITUTION: The molecular sieve has a three dimensional micro-porous framework structure of a tetrahedral unit of ZnO2 and PO2, pore system in crystal and an experimental equation of anhyrous base represented, as the ratio of oxides, by formula of rM2O: sZnO: P2O5, wherein M is at least one alkali metal, r is 0.9-1.5 and s is a value of 1.8-3.0. The molecular sieve is made by hydrothermal crystal action of a reaction mixture made by combining phosphorous, zinc, at least one alkali metal and water.
