PURPOSE:To correct a translated result and to register it in a dictionary by reprocessing a part where the translated result possibly changes and exchanges the translated result before alteration for the renewed result. CONSTITUTION:When a user gives the instruction of registration to a dictionary registration part 40 by a registration indication part 50, the dictionary registration part 40 pair-registers a paid of language information concerned to the translation dictionary of a translation part 20. Then, a dictionary alteration corresponding processing part 60 recognizes the alteration (new word registration and translated word correction) of the dictionary, which occurs owing to dictionary editing, and holds recognized alteration, for example. The processing part 60 retrieves the part where the translated result possibly changes owing to the alteration of the dictionary, and reprocesses the part where the retrieved translated result possibly changes. A result exchange part 70 exchanges an altered partial retranslated result or the translated word of a word in the reprocessed part with the result, and the exchanged result is outputted from an output part 30.
