METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MAINTAINING INNER PRESSURE OF LIQUID HELIUM STORAGE TANK IN TRANSFERRING LIQUID HELIUM

PURPOSE: To maintain the inner pressure of a liquid helium storage tank in a liquid helium transferring time at a sufficient pressure without preparing a high purity of helium gas in particular. ;CONSTITUTION: When a liquid helium is transferred from a liquid helium storage tank 11 to the inside of a liquid helium container 12 by utilizing the inner pressure difference between both members, the pressure inside the liquid helium storage tank 11 is maintained by the following method. That is, when the liquid helium is transferred, a part of the helium gas evaporated in the liquid helium container 12 is picked up, heated by a heater 22, and compressed by a compressor 28, and after regulating the pressure to an adequate value by a pressure regulating valve 31, it is returned to the inside of the liquid helium storage tank 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
