FARSIGHTED GLASSES FOR COMMON USE AS MAGNIFIER

PURPOSE: To obtain the farsighted glasses which are usually one piece of farsighted glasses, are commonly used as a magnifier at the time of viewing specifically small characters, etc., and are convenient to carry by using a superelastic alloy for the browbar of the frame of the farsighted glasses and constituting left and right lenses in such a manner that both lenses can be superposed on each other. ;CONSTITUTION: The spectacles which have vertically symmetrical lens shapes and are designed to have no pads and pad arms are easier for use as the magnifier. The spectacles are easily usable when made into the magnifier shape when the browbar connecting the left and right rims of the spectacle frame is formed of the superelastic alloy material and the hinges, etc., for connecting temples and endpieces are constructed to be widened not only perpendicularly but horizontally as well to the rims. The spectacles are deformed around the center of the browbar around a fulcrum in the state of horizontally spreading the temples to the rims. The shape like the magnifier is obtd. when the left and right temples are superposed in such a manner that two pieces of the lenses overlap on each other. Namely, the magnifying magnification is expanded when the lenses are superposed on each other.
