DATA BASE CONTROL JOURNAL OUTPUT SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: To automatically set the start time point of data base recovery processing, to correctly recover a data base and to reduce time required for this recovery. ;CONSTITUTION: In a data base system sampling a journal for fault recovery after the data base is updated, dynamic save end date/time is outputted to an updated journal file 1 as a control journal at the time of dynamically saving a data base file, and the dynamic save end date/time is also outputted to the final label part of a data base file 7. Thus, the labels of the control journal and the data base file are inspected at the time of recovering the data base file, and this data base control journal output system is described for synchronizing the updated journal file 1 and the data base file 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
