The present invention relates to a method for preparing a stable medicinalsolution intended to be administered orally, containing agents controllingthe release of the active ingredient, characterised in that 1 to 20 parts(by weight) of a beta-blocker are reacted in 100 parts water with 0.001 to10 parts of a polysaccharide, the temperature of the solution beingmaintained at 80 degrees C for 20 minutes; the pH of the mixture is thenadjusted in the range between 2 and 4.5, using a buffer system, and anantioxidant and a preservative are added to produce, by completing thepreparation with water, a suitable solution for oral administration.
