Subsidy for fertilizers

A liquid supplementary product for slurry, such as pig slurry or cattle slurry, and which is produced from a nitrogen-containing fertiliser, a strong mineral acid and water, can, like a strong mineral acid, be used to decrease the pH in the slurry to a value at which ammonia evaporation from the slurry, after this has been applied, is greatly reduced, and the product is substantially safer for the farmer to work with than is a strong mineral acid.
