The present Invention relates to Procedure for obtaining hydrothermal Solutions of POTASSIUM SILICATE with high SiO2, K2O molar ratios.By hydrothermal reaction of Quartz Sand with aqueous Potassium hydroxide to temperatures in the range of 150 to 300 degrees C and at pressures corresponding to these temperatUras of saturated Steam pressure in a reactor, wherein the POTASSIUM SILICATE Solutions obtained in this case are SiO2, K2O molar ratios less than 275: 1, then are reacted with a Quartz annealing temperatures in the range above 1.100 degrees C to the melting point, while keeping the temperatures and pressures in the aforementioned intervals.
