A system that automatically monitors Critical parameters of operation of circuit breaker for each Circuit Breaker operation.The parameters monitored include Currents being interrupted, the Voltage and current of the trip Coil, the Contact Position, the beginning of the closure,The displacement mechanism on the Contact Point of the closure, the opening and closing of contacts and the pressure in the Sf6 circuit breakers.These parameters are sampled and stored in Memory in the Circuit Breaker. The sample memory is connected to a Microcomputer which is in communication with a Host Computer.Upon receipt of a command from the Host Computer, a local Microcomputer In The Breaker sends the sample Data to the host computer for Storage and analysis.The Host Computer compares the data stored for each operation with Acceptable Operation Curves.If Data indicate various Operation outside acceptable Ranges, the maintenance Department is automatically notified of the potential problem.Preventive Maintenance and to allow additional evidence, if desired.
