Bearing support for the base of a child's playpen or child's bed, in which a collar-like thickened section is arranged on each of two adjoining bars of a playpen or bed side wall, on which thickened section a bearing block which is provided with openings to allow the bars through rests. According to the invention, the bearing block comprises a single piece and the two passage openings each open out, via a connecting slot of the width of the diameter of the bar, in an edge of the block while the passage openings, on that side of the bearing block which faces towards the thickened sections, are widened in such a manner that, in the bearing position, the widened sections of the block engage over the thickened sections.
