The furniture (10) has support fittings comprising a base part that is supported by a furniture base support bearing at a furniture base (12). The base part adjusts inclining/slanting position of a worktop (16) relative to the furniture base that is located in a longitudinal position by a retainer. The worktop is inclined above a worktop support bearing that is arranged in a spacing along a coupled axle (18). A position element is attached to the support bearing of a worktop longitudinal end of the base part by a spring such that an angle of the worktop of the furniture base is adjusted.
