Process for the formation of polyurethane products containing cork-bark granules, especially for manufacturing footwear soles and equipment for implementing this process

The formation of a polyurethane compound containing cork- bark or similar granules. The basic ingredients, which consist of isocyanates and polyols, are supplied to the inside of a mixing vessel (beaker) 14, which has a rotary shaft 16 with radial arms 18. Simultaneously, the cork- bark granules are introduced into the bottom part of the said mixer, via a conduit 32, inside which a conveyor screw 34 rotates, and they are mixed with the compound in the reaction stage. The equipment used for application of the process and which consists of the mixer and of the screw conveyor mentioned above, with the corresponding screw, is advantageously applicable also to known machines constructed for the production of products obtained only with polyurethane.
