The pallet has floor-contacting base members (11). These members are spaced, parallel and longitudinally spaced intervals. The interconnection ie effected by spaced, parallel and laterally extending deck members (12), each constructed from creased and scored rectangular blanks. The blanks are folded to comprise a solid core of adjacent vertically oriented panels (22) surrounded by an outer covering. The outer covering comprises perimetric horizontally and vertically running panels. Using this arrangement it is possible to produce a superior weight-supporting free standing lattice structure.
