The method envisages using a series 21,22,23,24 of nozzles 25,26,27,28 which are activated by means of electropneumatically operated valves 31,32,33,34,35,36 for performing the washing of a tablet-making machine for producing tablets, involving successive steps which envisage flushing the operating components of the machine with liquid, followed by the filling the compartment 1 where these components are located with liquid, with simultaneous activation of ultrasound devices and use of a cleansing substance, recirculation of the liquid inside the compartment 1, which is filtered at the same time and, finally, with rinsing of the compartment 1. The compartment 1 and the components contained therein are then dried with a jet of hot air. The tower 2 has an axis L which is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane so as to be, during axial rotation thereof, partially immersed in the liquid with vertical portions in gradual sequence.
