The present invention relates to the application to tractors of a levelling system which enhances their performance and safety. Tractors have a serious problem with safe transverse movements along contour lines, to get round obstacles, because they risk overturning. The invention consists in fitting in place of the tractor drivewheel a conversion kit which comprises a system of levers that enable the uphill wheels to be raised and consequently the downhill wheels to be simultaneously lowered, in such a way that during sideways travel the frame arranges itself horizontally and simultaneously shifts the centre of gravity uphill. With this system it is therefore possible to proceed diagonally in safety and on slopes of as much as 100%. IMAGE
